Ive always been told - and have always paid attention and noticed, that death usually comes in "3's"
While my my was in the hospital, my boss's father also went into the hospital (she didnt even say a word to me when I'd call her up, sobbing - she's an amazingly wonderful woman)
My mom passed on Saturday - 1.28.... her dad passed on the following Friday.
I was waiting for #3 - my fiance's best friend since grade school passed away a few days ago. he was alone in his apt for a few days before anyone knew.
So sad - he was only 39 and lived a depressed, sad, lonely life. He would get into destructive relationships (he was one of those rare men who was physically abused by his girlfriend)
Then, not a death, but my coworker was in the works of adopting a baby girl. Open adoption - the baby's birth mom was very excited about having my co-worker and her husband adopt.
Well, the birth fathers, mother - will not allow him to sign the papers and my co-worker had to head back up here (from another state) empty handed....after having had the baby in her posession for over a week.
What a poopy month!
