Death Clock - when it is your time?

It looks like my father is only supposed to live until November of next year, but my mom will live until 2020 (Yeah for mom....I just hope it's right.)

I get 'till January 4, 2047 (74) and DW gets until May 20, 2054 (79), plus 7 years without me. I wonder what formula they're using to figure these things out?

This is funny. Two years ago this would have freaked me out, but now I can look at it and get a chuckle out of it.

Mind said my last day would be Sunday, July 23, 2045. I'll be 78. Not too bad. If I change it to optimistic, which I try to be as much as possible, it changed to Sunday, October 8, 2062. Then I'd be 95. Gee, that is OLD! :)

DH came out as Friday, April 13, 2040. He said he hopes the grim reaper can wait and take him after Happy Hour is over.

I'll be 100.

DH's is Saturday, November 9, 2013
I've got to get him to quit smoking and to exercise more. :(

I think the formula has the same factors as a life insurance "scale" (amortization schedule? or am I mixing up my interest rates with that term?)

Medically, we know those with less stress (optomistic) add years onto the average lifetime expectancy, and increased BMI lowers it, as does smoking, etc. The exact formula, though, is beyond me.

I just did this for my mom and she's going to live 6 years longer than me??? She'd be 93 - Go Mom

I'll be waiting for you all at the pearly gates.

Mine is February 1, 2030!

Has anyone noticed that each time you hit enter that the clock pops up a new date. Just go for the date furthest out!!

It also gives you a different date each time you enter the same information. The first one had me living till 94 years of age and the second time it told me I'm gonna go at 82!

I know this sounds even more morbid, but try to put in someone's info who has already passed on. See what date it gives...

Well I'm actually quite impressed! I will be 82! And I put my correct BMI in there too! I figured it would tell me tomorrow or something...LOL!

At least I get to see my kids become major league superstars. :teeth:

Well it is silly, but I got curious.... and yes the answer keeps changing! One of mine said 104 yrs ( my worst 89, still not TOO bad)... so I'll continue losing weight and go with that one! And my mom is going to be 101!
My husband doesn't look quite as good.... but changing him to an optimistic type helped about 17 yrs... still WAAAYYY be for me!

Here's a sad one.... just from guessing a couple things ( Like the fact Walt Disney wasn't overweight) he should have lived until 1991!! hmmmm was he a smoker? I can't remember?? But the first time I changed him to a smoker it came up 1998-- now that's a bad campaign for us non-smokers!!! LOL

Anyway it was fun, but it sure changes it's answers on a whim it seems!

Kathi
who's going to go for the 104!! :)

I couldn't get it to work for me. Just as well, I'm thinking :)

According to this I'm dead in 10 years. Geesh I don't even get to retire.
