Now back to VMK management.

I do not know who answered my call for help last night when I was doing a quest on my mule, but the threatining reply was not deserved. Whoever it was should be banned from working for a month(without pay).

I was doing the presidential quest on my mule when I went to Main Street to get the coins when I noticed a boy saying something I thought was weird. So I decided to stay for a second because I thought it was inappropriate language for VMK if it was what I thought he was talking about. A few seconds later my suspicions were right, he said it again and added another choice word to the one he already said.

I reported him and got back a reply that said I had already reported him and to quit reporting him(not exact quote), but the way it was worded it made it sound like I was being threatened with a ban.

Now I did not report him but once, and after seeing others talk in that room I was not the only one to report him. This kid should get a 10 year or lifetime ban. As an adult who plays VMK I have seen the "you are ugly" etc, but what he was saying was more adult themed and I am sure most women who play VMK would not have liked being called that let alone a teenager or small kid. I can imagine a small kid going up to their parents and asking them what the "said name" meant.

I stayed in the room to wait to see staff showed up, but the kid finally said he was leaving and disappeared. Like I said I don't know who the person was I got the reply from, but it sounded like they were annoyed about being bothered by a legitimate call for help.

Let's keep VMK safe, by turning a blind eye to everything.

the second message your received is an autoresponse for having already reported him.

Yesterday was pretty busy, I bet he was/will be banned.

oh.. my thought was that when somebody reports somebody, it counts as a report. therefor they are already reported. but i guess not, lets just go with aengus!

Than they need to change that message to something more appropritae like, "this has already been reported by someone else also, thank you for trying to keep vmk safe" not the reply I got back. In fact I have never seen this message before, so that is why I thought it was from an individual not a generic message they send out.

no it was a mistake, you shouldnt have gotten it for someone else reporting it. Your only supposed to get it if you reported it twice.

I've gotten that same reply from VMK when I reported someone (again only reported them Once) so, my thoughts were exactly those as yours Gas:

Different Rant: I logged in, entered a room at random just to start playing (mind you, JUST logged in) as soon as I entered the room up popped message to room warning "about doing harm to yourself, etc etc, talk to someone, etc etc be careful talking about these things may get you banned" (not exact words).....and so I never said anything, didn't see anything said, but there was room warning and on my own messages... what's with that? Ok sorry, feel better now....sorta, lol

Most likely something that happen right before you entered that particular room and the notice was sent to the entire room. Therefore, you got it too.
