Dear Disney and On-Line ADR system,

Luckily I was able to get a wonderful CM who booked my nine reservations within 15-20 minutes. I got everything I wanted within 30 minutes of my desired time. Online reservations would have been nice but at least my CM made things quick and painless :thumbsup2
 
Dear Disney,

Due to your on-line ADR system not allowing me to make my 180 day mark reservations....so I had to call and make them and spend 2 hours doing it (I hate calling and doing it)...
I have taken a cue from your new cancellation policy and charged you 10 dollars for each reservation I could not make on-line.
You may apply this to my balance on my trip.

UGH! It has been an ongoing issue with Disney online dining res.
Oddly enough I never have difficulties making my hotel res.
Anyhow, you would think once the sys. Pulls up your res. it would be able to sinc that with the dining:confused3
I actually like talking to the res. agents, it's sort of 'old school':hippie:
However......if I want to make a res. when central res. is closed it is VEXING! when the system says::confused3;:confused3:confused3
 
OP here. After scheduling lunch at Akershus over the phone and given an 11 am lunch...which I said several times...that sounds too early for lunch...I think thats still breakfast...and hearing...no, no its lunch...that indeed phone person scheduled me for breakfast instead of lunch...so had to call back and cancel that and re-schedule for lunch. Ugh.
Can we not add a smilie on here that is throwing a phone against a wall?

Last Saturday 3/10 I booked 14 reservations in 20 minutes online. Sorry you are all having such problems.
 

I have been waiting for 3/16 to make my reservations for months.....wrong...it did not allow me to book any online today:confused3 I did called the 3adr that I really wanted in and will wait for next week to be past the 180 mark to play with the rest. I do feel better that it's not something that I'm doing wrong....misery likes company. Looking forward to seeing you all there mid september:)
 
Today is my 180 day to make my ADRs! Never had a problem before but this morning the online system won't recognize my reservation. Even when I go to the My Reservations page, and it's clearly displayed! So frustrating. Now I have to call for 15 ADRs...

I feel your pain, to everyone else that had issues! :confused3
 
Here's their generic response from December so this issue has been going on for a while:

Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World Resort. Your message has
been forwarded to the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Online team.

We are sorry for any disappointments with the online Disney Dining
Reservation booking system. It is our expectation that you should be
able to use your resort reservation to book dining reservations. It may
interest you to know some of our Guests have reported a similar issue.
However, we want to assure you your experience has also been reviewed by
various areas of our Online Team.

To book dining reservation up to 190 prior to your arrival please call
Disney Dining at 407-939-3463. Dining reservations booked by phone can
be retrieved and viewed online in the My Reservations section of our
site. Once you are within 180 days of your arrival you should be able
to booking dining reservations online. Please know associating your
resort reservation is not required to book 180 days prior to your
arrival.

Thank you again for sharing your experience with us.

Woke up at 5:30am this sunday morning to make my adr's. Never thought I would have a problem since the disney website acknowledges my reservation, shows my resort, when my payment is due, when we check in, etc. But then, I try to make ressies this am and it says's it does recognize my reservation number :confused3. I was so annoyed. Never had problems with online ressies before and I don't like calling because I like to see it in front of me on the screen and like changing dates and juggling before I make them. When I called the CM said they are having problems with the dining site recognizing resort reservations. Got most but not all of my times. Much rather make them online.
 
I have been able to make ADRs online, but I can not see them or cancel them online after making them. The system has not worked for me for over a month. I had to call once to cancel a res. and I will have to call again to cancel another one. If I try to log in, it just says I have no existing reservations, even if I search by the confirmation # they sent me. When I called, the CM was able to pull up my ADRs with no problem.

The site, in general, has not been working for me. I tried making the maps and whenever i log in, it just sends me back to the log in screen again, no matter how many times I log in (Even though it shows me as being logged in up at the top). Kind of frustrating that it still has not been fixed and it has been over a month.

All that being said, the one time I called to cancel I had an extremely helpful CM and was only on the phone for maybe a total of 10 minutes. Hopefully it goes as well when I call again.
 
What aggrevates me the most is why can't they now do something to my reservation in the system manually, so I can look up restaurants 190 days out? Still if I want to change a ressie, I have to call, and it won't even let me look at ressies 190 days out. It totally sucks!
 
I still have some to make past the 180 plus 10...but everything so far is EXACTLY what I wanted within 10 minutes of when I wanted it...so that part is great. I was just venting thru a joke with this post. I HATE callin in to make the adr's...it just takes sooooo much longer and its much easier to see choices on-line. :o)

I prefer to do it online too. I like to look at my choices and decide on my own time. I feel pressured on the phone. :scared:

Fingers crossed I don't have to call when it is my ADR date... :surfweb:

I prefer booking online too. I got everything I wanted by calling but had to adjust some of the times. The CM was not too swift...she booked Wolfgang Puck Cafe even though I specified I wanted the Dining Room (twice). When I looked at my ADRs later online, I saw the mistake. Had to call back again and had a great CM that time. Had to make another call at 9:00 am to book Victoria and Albert's. Whew- I'm just glad it's done! Good luck to everyone else dealing with these issues!
 
As of 5 min ago I'm still locked to only 180 days out...it won't recognize my resort confirmation #. When I called (UGH!!) to get the ADRs I KNEW I wanted (the rest, like you guys I want to see my options---grrr), the CM had "no idea" why I couldn't do it online & then MAGICALLY remembered it happened to someone else earlier in the day, but that the IT department was working on it & to try tomorrow...yeah right.

I had another CM tell me that "yesterday" was the first day they had been told about the issue...this was one day last week & we all know yesterday was not truly the day before I called about the problem.

It's so annoying.
 
Ugh... add me to the list of people having problems. Today's my first day for booking, and I got my first day with no problem, but same issue-- it won't recognize my resort reservation. Super frustrating. Actually, I thought my head was going to pop as I was frantically trying different browsers, etc, trying to get it to work, but now that I see it's an issue for everyone, I'm feeling a little more calm about it. :scared1::eek:

I'm trying to make our 180 + 10 RIGHT NOW, & I'm having the exact same problem!!

It is "unable to confirm our reservation"!!!

Although I can look at my reservation & see it on their site... apparently, they can't!

I've only been able to book 1 ADR for exactly 180 days out.

So frustrating!!!!
 
Same problem here. Today's my day to book and I have 3 rooms. None of them will recognize. Got the first day booked but will have to call for the other ones.
 
Add me to this frustrated list! I am on a different vacation right now and woke up to try and get these reservations so I could get back to bed! Now I am going to have to be calling in at 7 a.m. and driving myself crazy because I hate doing it that way!
