Deals for Annual Passes for DVC Members

A few years ago, I purchased five Annual Passes for our use but did so at a significantly reduced rate. I think we bought Premium APs for under $500. Does anyone know if that deal happens regularly and if so, when?

Only happened once. You can still buy regular AP's at a reduced rate but the prices just went up and the DVC discount was reduced a little.

In 2012, they had a promo on the PAP for $399.
In 2014, they had a promo on the PAP for $484.

That's right. As posted above the only discounts we've seen on APs were in 2013 and 2014. Before joining dvc in 2005 we use to buy our APs via a cast member discount (which wasn't much).

There's been a discount on APs & PAPs for many years now. What I posted above was for 2 limited time promos on PAPs which made them cheaper than the normal DVC PAP pricing.

Sorry for the confusion, yes I was talking about special promotions that were a better deal than the DVC price. I've only seen 2 special promotions during my DVC member lifetime. So many newbies think that the DVC special promotion tickets are a given since they happened over the last few years.
