Deal on a desktop computer?

I would like to get my two oldr children (8 and 10) a computer to share. I would like to spend less than $400. Have you seen any deals? Which ones to avoid?

This is what we got our son who is 15. My husband researched and felt this was a good one for him. We already have an extra monitor. This was supposed to be instore only. I bought online this morning. Sent free....

I had nothing but problems with my DeLLS. Will never spend money on another one.mother boards, battery, cord melted away, the lap top had three boards put in during the three year warranty. I would like to pick up an inexpensive Hp tower as my 17" inch Gateway keeps over heating and shutting down.

I've bought five Dells - three laptops and two desktops - and never had problem one with them.
