Deal of the century!

I've chased again today too as was told on Tuesday morning I would have an answer within 48 hours - they're saying they're still investigating 'with the hotel' and need another 24 hours but I should have an answer tomorrow. I'm thinking that the booking will be cancelled now :(

I'm wondering who they are actually checking this with? I doubt they're speaking to the hotel at all - as they would have sold these rooms/packages to eBookers for x amount - they then don't care how much or how little they then resell them on for. :confused3

Not always the way. Some companies block book hotels for package holidays abroad, but others are just agents, like last minute.com who book out rooms that are empty to fill spaces. A lot of these companies are purely agents that need to book via say, Disney themselves. Even Thomas Cook phone Disney directly to book your rooms/packaging even if you book through their own brochure.
 
we have all been scammed, the holiday never existed, the tickets were never included, the company will go bust and we will all lose our money, and i've only gone and booked my travel 1st class with Concorde via Singapore as well :-(

I used to work for DLP reservations so am aware of this, but I was pretty sure that eBookers and Expedia actually bought allocation ahead of time. Maybe that's wrong though, it's a shame my friend who worked at the reservations office in Paris left last year, she would have been the ideal person to harass!

I might ask my friend if she still knows anyone that works there... It's worth a try!

Oh my goodness, lol, just came on here for the first time today and this is the first thing I read lol! I was about to burst in to tears lol!

Good response Gavvy, wish they'd send us all a clearer confirmation email though.

chatted to a different person at ebookers and they confirmed the same (forgot to save the chat) so on that basis I booked my flights with Easyjet!

Did you request this email or are they sending them out to all who booked?
 
Right went back on chat and asked about the situation and have now been told tickets are confirmed and have an email confirming this.

I'm going to change my trains now which will cost an extra £50 but its still cheaper and we are going to go and see the sights of Paris for an extra few days as dont need 5 days in disney.
 
Went on chat, they've sent me an email stating they confirm park tickets are included for all guests on the reservation......... fabbbbb!!!
 
Well i havent had an email so i guess my holiday doesn't include tickets. Ah well.
