Deadline for canceling an excrusion: what time?

We have tickets for 3 out of 5 of us to do an excursion. If we can't get tickets for the last 2, we'll cancel the three we have.

Our cruise departs on June 22, and I know it says 3 day cancelation. But, what time is that really?

Midnight on June 19 (i.e. late at night on June 18)?

Hoping to wait as late as possible to try and get the last two!

Thanks!

On the DCL website it says:
Cancellations can be made up to 3 days prior to the cruise departure date. After that time all reservations are final and non-refundable.

"up to 3 days prior", to me, means it has to be cancelled by the 19th. Before the 19th happens. As to specific time, if you're trying to cut it that close I'd suggest a phone call to DCL and see if they can help with that. Hoping, of course, that the person answering the phone knows (or knows who to ask).

We do have alternate plans that we would be happy with. Perhaps the best course would be to cancel late on the 17th, and then try to book all 5 together for as long as it'll let me try.
