Captain Phil was on Paula's Party on the Food Network! Did you see it?
I also like the way Phil and his sons interact. :rotfl:

I also have a crush on Sig. :lovestruc

We got to meet Mike Rowe last October and he said he was headed to Alaska to film his parts in January.

I've got crushes on BOTH Sig and Mike Rowe. Glad the shows will be back soon.

Because I am in England some of the channels and shows are different. I would love to watch more TV but my DD10 dominates the tv here (only one with sky/cable):confused3 I had caught Deadliest Catch this summer when I was home visiting family and sort of got hooked;)

Everyone talks about this Mike Rowe person, whoever he is. He is not on the show here, they must edit him out. There is a British guy narrating the show, thats it, you never see anyone.

I will admit to going to the Discovery Channel sit and reading up on all the boats and crews. I need a hobby:lmao:

Mike Rowe! He is the host on Discovery's "Dirty Jobs" show. He is also the narrator of Deadliest Catch. He was seen on Deadliest Catch in a few episodes at the end of last season called "After the Catch" where he sat around an Alaska bar with the captains and they discussed the show and some behind the scenes stuff.

BTW I thought this was really cool, they are asking fans to write in about what they want the new taping to be about. Theyre doing a behind the scenes and would like to know what the fans want to see and learn about the crew and Dutch.

Oopsie - my mistake - you're right!

"This four-part special invites the many fans of Deadliest Catch into a fishermen's bar in Seattle, Wash., where they can watch and listen to their favorite captains and deckhands tell the tales from their lives on the Bering Sea. After the Catch allows its viewers to witness these colorful characters together, on land, celebrating their exciting, dangerous and recently popular career. Sitting at the table with our heroic fishermen is Mike Rowe, friend to the crab fleet and host for After the Catch. In addition to showing footage never before seen on television, there will also be several surprise guests, including famous crab fisherman and storyteller Spike Walker, author of Coming Back Alive, Nights of Ice and Working on the Edge."
