Yeah My Dh and I love this show and have been watching since the first season.

Blake is captian of the Maverick? WOW, after his little hissy fits last year I didn't think we were going to see him again, let alone on the Maverik. It's going to be real interesting to see how this goes!!!!

Our whole family watches it also - DS roots for Sig and the rest of us love to hate Sig but we root for his crew (he's mean, per my DD). I like the Cornelia Maria with the Captain and his son's drama while DD roots for the Rollo.

It gives me new appreciation for that cracked crab I love so much!

I root for the Northwestern!! And I can't believe Blake is the Captain of the Maverick, either!! He seems so young (but cute!! ).

I am absolutely addicted to this show! I hardly ever watch TV, except for the news, but the Deadliest Catch is a MUST! I don't know what it is that hooked me in, maybe the fact that they're out in the Bering Sea, which to me is like as dangerous and crazy as you can get. Those guys are amazing. I just wonder if they ever get mad that the captains don't do any of the physical work.

I watched it last night, when they showed the rogue wave...scary!

I'm glad the OP started this thread, and I hope it keeps going, because no one in my family watches this show, and I need someone to talk to about it!

We became addicted to this show last season. I never would have thought I'd watch something like this. But, as a previous poster said, it really does draw you right in. I guess they ARE good fishermen!

I'm horrible with remembering names, but the kind of Nordic captain is my favorite. I think his brother captains another boat. Is that Sig? I just thought he was the most professional, and really did everything he could to make his crew the most money.

Which captain was it that got out on deck during a bad squall and showed his crew "how it's done"? That was a good episode.

Anyway, thanks for the reminder, we'll have to DVR it, for sure.

yep we always watch! 2 of my brothers work for the company that they offload to ( Trident Seafoods you can see their boxes in some of the dock shots) You can probably see my middle brother on TV this season as he was up there for most of the season. The other one is based elsewhere.

It really IS as brutal as they make it seem.

I CANNOT STAND Blake. Little cocky pouty boy... I haven't watched yet (TiVo'd it) but when I saw him on the start of the show I cringed. Liked the other guy and his wife!! Hopefully they'll come back - lol!

Great show. Sometimes those guys rake in the money. But you couldn't pay me to do it.
