My PAL Mickey doesn't talk any more.
Changing batteries doesn't help.
Any suggestions?
thanks

Just a thought...what brand of batteries are you using...?
I've had troubles with my Pal Mickey using Duracells, however no problems whatsoever with Eveready

That's pretty funny, Donna! D'ya reckon Disney has an 'agreement' with Eveready, and they programmed Pal Mickey to recognize the difference? :rotfl:

Now there's a thought!! :p Ya never know
As a matter of fact  last time I put fresh batts into PalMickey it DID happen to be Duracells; PalMickey didnt work...I went into the shop on Main Street to enquire and after testing Mick, they gave me fresh EVEREADYs and all was fine...hmmmm

Honestly though, both my kids Gameboys seem to chew through the Duracells much faster than the Everreadys, and I recall buying a small electronic device in the past as well, where the vendor advised using Eveready or other brand, as Duracells may cause a malfunction (can't for the life of me remember what the heck the item was though  ) Wonder what the heck is IN those Coppertops anyway :p

Also one other thing I found out the hard way with my Pal Mickey, evidently certain attractions do send out a signal to keep Pal Mickey quiet and not go off during the attraction, and then another signal near the exit to turn him back on again. Apparently my Pal Mickey received such a "turn off" signal while in Test Track, and did not receive the "turn on" signal. When this happens, Pal Mickey needs to be taken to guest services to be "reset", and then he's fine again. Isn't necessarily the batteries, as this happened 24 hours after putting the first set of batteries in him.
