I think that means that YOU used the code already. I believe you can only use each code once. Sorry.

You can only use a code once per PayPal ID. I used the code when I purchased an item. When we purchased another item I set up a PayPal account for my DW........saved another $25, woohoo!! Only note, you can't have the same bank account or credit card linked to more than one PayPal account.

It seems that some people have used the GIFTGUIDE codes after the 18th, which I think was the stated expiration. No idea if they still work, but it would be worth a try if you are going to buy anyway.

Not aware of any other codes, but I didn't know about any of them except thru this thread......

The codes expired on the 18th and no longer are working....they come out with these codes often enough though so they will probably be releasing some more new ones in the near future been using them every month since last June

Who pays for these discounts? Is it Ebay or the Seller?? I looked all over and cannot find any reference to these codes on Ebay or Paypal.

Ebay now owns PayPal and it wasnt "paid for" rather a promotion during the holidays to get people to use PayPal. Alot of people didnt know what it was about and it was a way to "hook" more people into using their service. Sellers like us who use PayPal have ot pay to have it on our auctions. The promotion is over, they might do more for Valentines Day when business is slow. Nobody does nothing for nothing!

It would be a nice way to boost up the sale on an item by listing it with your auction.
