I shared this with an American Girl message board, but I know there are some fans here too who might be interested.
My childhood Felicity doll had a really bad case of the frizzies because of an incident 7 years ago in which I thought I had read to dunk hair directly in boiling water to make it smoother. I had the heat up too high and ended up badly damaging it.
Well, the other day, on recommendation from other members of the AG message board, I decided to be brave and try using heat again. This time, I dunked her hair into warm water with shampoo and conditioner. Then I took a curling iron on low setting and carefully ran it through each small lock of wet and soapy hair. The difference is absolutely incredible! Take a look!

Wonder of wonder, miracle or miracles...
I know some of you may think this is a silly thing to get all excited about, but I can't help it- I'm absolutely giddy!
