DD's Teacher Gift

In January, I found really nice Lenox dip bowls that had dip mix and a whisk. They were originally $25 but were marked down and came to $8 each, shipped. I ordered 18 of them. Aunt/Uncle Gifts... female employee gifts... teacher gifts... etc.

DD has her regular 4th grade teacher and a special reading teacher. She took the 2 gifts today and fell on her way into school. UGH! Her primary teacher's gift broke. She brought it home.

I got to go to Rite Aid tonight to buy a Panera Bread GC since luckily they have them near the pharmacy.

At least she didn't let on that she had a broken gift for her teacher.

Ohhhh!!! So sorry that happened.

My DS8 brought his teacher's gift in today....a Target gift card, along with some other things we picked out for her. I drove him to school today because I knew there was no way he would ever get that gift bag into school safely. Stuff would have been falling out all over the bus!!

She was sad, but then I told her about how I spilled things on my shirt 3X at our Christmas lunch at work and that I had to come home to change because I was such a pig. She laughed and I told her that these things happen sometimes.
