DD's Hamsters are........

TOTALLY FREAKING OUT!

Everytime I clean their cage, they freak!...

I hope they settle down soon, cause this chasing eachother thru the hamster condo is really starting to get loud. Poor Dog is looking at the cage doing the funky head tilting thing...


up the tube to bed #1, they get in eachothers way- boom back down the tube, across the "living room" into the tube to apartment number 2, up that tube to bed #2, back down- up again

Into the wheel, run for a second...back out- back in, then push the other one out.

had to give the dog a bone so he'd stop squeeking at them and twisting his head into weird positions!

I always put our hamster in his plastic ball, to roam freely around the room, when I'm cleaning his cage. We've had hamsters for as long as I can remember. Usually, the more you handle them the tamer they get. And I would advise you against putting more than one hamster in a cage. They have a tendancy to fight or make more hamsters!

They each have a ball, they were in there when I cleaned it. We've had these guys for almost a year now, they're VERY tame...you open the cage- they come over to you. They can be hand fed- they love nutra puff's from a hand..

I didnt mean to imply they were wild LOL...just off the wall with a new cage.

Also- these guys are brothers from the same litter...they wouldnt know what to do if they were in separate cages, we got them when they were 3 months old- thats all they know...generally they dont fight...separation anxiety for hamsters I suppose
