DD's Friend on Todays' OPRAH!

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up to make sure and watch Oprah today.

My daughter's friend, Allison Howard, is one of the 50 people Oprah wants you to meet. She wrote an essay about Elie Wiesel's Holocaust book and how it relates to life today. Allison wrote the essay while a sophomore in high school.

Allison is a very gifted writer and we can't wait to see the show!

That's right! She's a great kid and an incredible writer! She's only 15 too! I've known her since I was in 3rd grade and she was a good writer even then! Please watch all you Oprah fans. This is big in our town, it was in the paper, a front page story! And they announced it at school today.

I can't wait another hour!
