DD's car was egged (vent)

I am so very ticked off . . .right in front of our house . . .We didn't notice it until today when I took her for her weekend driving practice. Her driver's side door must of gotten at least 6 eggs thrown at it . . .I don't think it was a random thing since there were untouched cars on the street as well. DD's car was a target . . .probably by someone she knows . . .After washing it we noticed that at least one of the eggs made a small dent and chipped away some paint . . .I'm wondering if that one was hard boiled?

Anyhow, now we'll have the inconvenience of her car in the driveway and I'll be moving it every morning so I can get out of the garage. I can't believe how rude some kids can be egging peoples cars . . . I guess our town really is boring since kids can't find anything better to do that vandalize other people's property.

That stinks! Must be a CT thing because many people I know were "egged" while living there. We lived in a very boring town so I guess the kids thought there really was nothing better for them to do, so sad.

is she having any problems with people at school? It may be easier to figure out who it was espcially if you think it wasn't random.

This happened to my oldest dd's car when she was in college. It actually happened a couple of times....The first time it was just the driver's window and back window...but the second time they got the front window also and the egg ran down into the window wiper area and into the front engine part of the car....OMG....talk about stinking....we cleaned and cleaned it but before we realized it had run down into the front are, it had aleady rotted. We could never get the smell out.
We found out it was a dumped boyfriend and his cousin that did the dead....

I don't think they would have hardboiled the eggs as you want the yolk and egg white to drip down the side...

If an egg is thrown hard enough it will chip away at the paint

sorry to hear that... we moved about a year and a half ago.. at our old house someone wrote nasty words all over my boyfriends truck .. on my car they egged it, put peanut butter all over the handles, including under the handles, smeared peanut butter all over my windows, put chocolate syrup all over the bumpers and then made a trail all the way to my front door .. I still dont know who did it.. we were then egged the weekend after that and that was right before Thanksgiving that year if I remember correctly.. I had bought about 15 or so pumpkins and had them decorating my yard, only to wake up that Saturday morning and everyone of them were smashed in the street!! I dont have any enemies that I know of so I dont know who would have done such a thing.. But every house on our street that had pumpkins in their yard had them smashed in the street.. The same Christmas we had went out to eat and I have those reindeer that have lights on them and one moves its head up and down and the other moves side to side.. well when we got back we found them humping!! Someone had moved them in that position .. I did have to laugh because at first sight it was funny, but some of the lights got messed up so it did make me a little mad.. That happened a few times that year.. Since we have been at this house, I think we were egged once.. I just dont get why people would do such a thing..

That's terrible. One of my friends had her truck spray painted while she had it parked to watch 4th of July fireworks. Some jerk just went down a whole row of cars and sprayed them. I don't get how these people can live with themselves .

I have a neighbor that someone scratched the f word on her hood and rhymes with witch on her truck. This is a 50 y/o very nice, really timid woman and I've always thought it had to be an accident and meant for someone else. The really weird part though is this happened over a year ago and she's never had it fixed.

Eggs and car paint = new paint job.
I am a member of a car board and egg yolk left on a car for almost any amount of time will pretty much do a number on it. Hopefully you washed and polished, waxed it to get all the egg yolk off of it.
