I was just wondering when you get the DDP plan, does it have to be for every day you're staying at the resort, or if, for example, we decide to stay for 5 nights and only go to the parks 3 days, can I purchase the DDP for 3 days? Also, is there a limit at all to the pricing of the entree you purchase? For example, at the restaurants that aren't signature service, if an entree is $20, am I able to use just 1 table svc. meal ticket for that even though the regular DDP only costs $39.99/day? Seems like the dining plan is definitely worth it if that is the case. Thanks!:thumbsup2

You must purchase the dining plan for the full number of nights of your reservation. The only way to get a partial plan is to book two separate reservations.

If a restaurant is indicated in the Dining Plan brochure as requiring one Table Service credit, it requires one Table Service credit as payment for that person's meal. If a restaurant is indicated as a Signature restaurant, it requires two credits in payment.

PP is correct...you must have the plan for each night....but remember you can use the plan at resorts not just at the parks...so do not worry that you cannot use some credits because you will not be in the parks every day...we actually like visiting other resorts and the Dining Plan is a good excuse to try dining at some really nice resorts....

You can order what ever entree and dessert you want...No matter of price...We have found the plan to be a great value for our family...We have done the math down to the last cent and we have saved any where from $120 up to $350 depending on the length of the trip/where we ate/what we ordered....You always check to make sure we are not losing money and we never have....The only chance to break even is if you do a buffet for yout TS each day instead of a traditional sit-down....

And we do not use our credits for 2TS meals...Math does not work out for us if we are on the basic plan (which is what we always get).

:disrocks: Wow! That is awesome! When you make the reservation by renting points, when the DDP is added, is that due in full at the time of reservation? I'm a little confused by if the reservation total is due at the time of booking or only a percentage?

Nope. If you're renting points, the DVC member must reserve the Dining Plan for you, but you must pay for it when you check in.
