When we were at WDW back in 2005, Wolfgang Puck Cafe in Downtown Disney was included in the dining plan. I just called this afternoon to book a dinner there for our summer trip and was told it is not included in the dining plan. I checked the list online and it is included. I plan to call back later, but wondering if a change has been made.

I think someone is confused. Wolfgang Puck's The Dining Room (upstairs at the Cafe) is not on the dining plan, never has been. It's upscale, fine dining as opposed to the casual Cafe downstairs.

Thanks. I knew I wasn't confused. When we were there in 2005 it was the first time we used the dining plan and DH giggled like little schoolgirl because the receipt said $0.00. I'll have to call back and clarify.

I thought they were BOTH on there....I've been researching DTD for the DDP also and my thought was after researching was that BOTH of them are on there....I think it lists it under counter service AND Table service....check the website....but maybe i was thinking the same thing you were...

There are four separate Wolfgang Puck restaurants at Downtown Disney.

Wolfgang Puck Express is a counter service on DDP and there are two locations, one in the Marketplace and one in West Side.

Wolfgang Puck Cafe is a table service restaurant that costs 1 TS credit on the dining plans, located in West Side.

Wolfgang Puck Upstairs Dining Room is a separate TS restaurant, although located in the same building as the Cafe. It does not accept the dining plan at all.

The above poster is correct in that both the Express and the Cafe accept DDP. The Upstairs Dining Room, however, does not.

DH called back and the person he spoke to referred to the upstairs as the grand cafe which is The Dining Room and not on the plan. HE got it switched so it's all OK.

Whomever I spoke to this afternoon was a bit difficult to understand. I know they must say the same thing eleventy billion times every day and get to the point they speak so quickly just to get it over with. :)
