DDP when staying at DVC

Am I correct that you do not have to purchase a one-day ticket in order to do the DDP when staying on your points at DVC?

What are the guidelines for this?

You are correct. The DDP has to be added to your room reservation by Member Services at least 48 hours prioir to your arrival date, you have your choice of standard or deluxe DDP this yar. There is no ricket purchase requirement, but you will need some type of ticket media to enter the parks.
