DDP - what actually happens on check-in?

I know how the Plan works (credits etc), but what I want to know is what do you actually get when you check in, e.g. is it a card with your name on, is it "attached" to your "key", or what?

There is a notation on your room key.

You get a room key that also chas the credits for the meals on, when you 'pay'for a meal you give them the card and they deduct the credits. The reciept they give you then tells you how many of that type oif credit you have left.
