DDP vs. TiW

We used the TiW card on our last trip and it worked out well. To break even, you'll need to spend approximately $500 on food in the Resort within the 1 year that the card is good for. The card includes drinks and alcohol, so depending on your traveling party it may work out. You'll need to consider your length of stay also. :thumbsup2

So since we have a V&A dinner in there I would assume TIW will be worth it for us?

I've done it all - no dining plan/TIW...DDP, DxDP, free DDP, TIW...

I found that I generally save money with TIW and I don't have to worry about credits and what is or isn't included. I also don't feel the pressure to "get my money's worth" by ordering more than I would normally eat.

I'm with you on this one. Saves some money and we chose to eat what we want, when we want. We also do a few more TS (even for lunch) and have run out of points when we've used DDP. The only problem I had (all my fault) was that when we joined w/ some friends for dinner they insisted on paying. It was a good size bill and since I didn't have to reach into my pocket I forgot to use the TIW card.:sad2:

We also use gift cards but instead of carting them around we room charge everything and use the gift cards to pay the balance when we check out. Have to take that extra step to actually check out but it's easier then remembering what card has a balance leftover, ie.
