DDP-some on the plan and other's aren't

We are traveling to the world with my ILs. They are staying at the SOG and aren't eligible for the DDP. How will it work if I we get the DDP (me, dh, son (4) and daughter (1)) and ILs are not on the plan? Do we just have to tell the server when we sit down at a TS that some of us are on the plan and others are not?

The last 2 years our ILs who live in Daytona came over to join us for a couple of meals. We were all on the same ADR but when seated tell the server then he will make separate checks. We were on the DDP and the had the DDE and some places paid OOP. Works out just fine with setparate checks.
Doing the same thin this June.

Absolutely, tell the server that you have some members of the party on the dining plan and some who are not. You will get separate checks for the DDP party and the OOP party.

It looks like you will have 6 people in your party; therefore, at all TS meals you should have the 18% automatic gratuity added to both checks.
