DDP - Room Reservations

I've talked to Member Services so many times that I think I'm going crazy! I have two (well, actually three because of point allocation issues) reservations. Our first reservation is for a studio for my husband and myself for Dec. 16-18. We then have a second and third reservation for a 2-bedroom from Dec. 18-23. Our friends are on our second/third reservation so can we add the DDP starting the 18th for everyone in the party? I've heard two different stories from Member Services. Can anyone shed some light? I assumed that since it was two different reservations that the DDP would apply to that specific reservation number. Did that all just make sense? I think I'm going crazy! Am most ready for the vacation with or without the DDP! Thanks for your assistance!

Yes, you can get DDP for just the 2nd and 3rd ressies. Just tell MS you want DDP for whatever Res# you want. We did the same thing in Aug. We went with friends and used our points for two ressies, and their points for the other two ressies (we ended up with 7 consecutive nights at 2BR @ SSR) We did the DDP for the last 2 nights because we wanted to see if we liked it. We had to go down to the front desk to get different room cards, and the cast members had a bit of a problem doing it, which had to do with the linked ressies, but it can be done.
