DDP restrictions

Please tell me your experiences about restrictions with DDP.

For instance, i've read that the lobster dishes are restricted, aren't they? And if i go to a 2TS restaurant??

Um.... when I went last year I was told that anything at any resturaunt on the dining plan could be ordered off the menu. I never once had any problems.

At 2TS restaurants, it seems to be true, but at 1TS restaurants there are exclusions. There is a thread on the Dining Plan board that outlines some of them.
