I have been twice and used the DDP both times and I am planning on using it again in Sept. With the changes made for 2008, I was just talking to my friend who went in January and she said on her last day there that a CM told her that her plan had expired and she could not use the rest of her meal credits? Is this true?

I was under the impression that if I am going for 8 days/9 nights, that I had the following: 8 Counter Service, 8 Sit down, 8 snacks per day person I was purchasing the DDP for and as long long as I used them during my time there they would can be used, no matter what day I was using them.

Has something this changed since 2006?

Actually, I think you would have 9CS, 9TS & 9SC per person as it's based on the number of nights you stay, not days. And, they would expire at midnight of the day you check out.

Have fun!

I think you mean 8 nights and 9 days. You are correct you get 8 of each for each person covered by your plan. Your friend's credits expire at midnight after she checked out of her hotel.

I'm confused, how many credits for a Sun to Sun stay. 7 or 8?

You get credits based on the number of NIGHTS you stay, not days. Sunday arrival, Sunday departure is a 7 night stay.

The credits expire at midnight of your checkout date. So for example...if you check on on April 1 and check out on April 7, your credits are good through 11:59 PM on April 7.

Just a question about the dining plan. If the restaurant is a la carte what is included ? Would it be a meat and veg? Not sure how this part works if anyone could fill me in. Thanks:)

Any table service restaurant that is not a buffet or fixed-price all you can eat meal includes (on the basic dining plan) one entree, one dessert, and one non-alcoholic beverage per credit used. (Some restaurants require 2 table service credits). You can pick anything from the entree and dessert menu selections - there are very few exemptions, which are usually items such as "dessert samplers" meant to serve more than one person. Whether or not "specialty beverages" (such as smoothies or milkshakes) are included depends on the restaurant.

Yes, I meant 9 days and 8 nights. Sometimes my finger can't keep up with my mind LOL

Thanks. That is what I thought.

I am not sure what happened with my friend, maybe she lost track of her meals and used them all up without realizing. But she said the CM told her that her meals had expired on the last day of her trip.
