I know that the TS credits have been seperated. But, can you share? Adult with Adult and kids with kids. I have six small children(twins and triplets and a baby-3yr old) and they can not all eat a full meal. Last time we shared. Just checking the rules to see if the plan will work for us or not. Also with the CS credits, does everyone have to order at the same time? Last time our cards were split since we must do two rooms. It is a lot to keep straight. Thanks in advance.....

There have been a half-dozen threads recently asking this question. Here is a link to the latest:

This is also addressed in the Dining Plan FAQ:
Can I share meals?
Recently, this question has been asked directly to Disney by a number of guests and the answer has often been a bit unclear, but generally has been negative. In several cases, Disney has answered this question by saying specifically that, "sharing is not permitted." In the past, guests seem to have been allowed to share the meals ordered on the Dining Plan amongst the guests at your table, with the exception of fixed price meals, such as buffets or other all-you-can-eat options. At this time, it is not clear as to whether Guest Communications is putting out a valid or invalid policy, since our sources in Disney Dining say unofficially that there is no "no sharing" policy.

Can I share meals with guests not on the Dining Plan?
No. The Dining Plan cannot be shared with guests who aren't registered as part of your reservation.
The Dining Plan FAQ has a lot of useful information you may need. Here's a link to it: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1305783

Only time will tell.... at this point you can share assuming you are not at a buffet/all you can eat type table service meal. You may be told that you each need to use a TS credit. I'd have a back up plan in case that's what you are expected to do. On the other hand, you may be able to share- no problem- at the table service meals.

As far as the CS meals go, it seems that as long as you order the correct number of meals as listed on your card, you'll be fine. (1 A/3c) at a time per card. I'd have both adult cards handy and order your meals in that manner at CS locations. Your family is an example of the flaw in the way some CM are enforcing the ordering of cs meals, IMO. One parent ought to be able to go up and order 2 adult meals and how ever many childrens meals you want while the other parent sits w/ the kids. Since your own card will say 1 adult/3 children- you may get some grief about that. I wonder if you will be able to get your card to say 2 A/6C rather than 1a/3c x2 It would simplify things for you.

Thanks bicker:
When we went last Sept we were able to share at all non- buffet meals. Just checking to see if people were still having the same experience. I know things change. I didn't want to know about last year just very recent experiences.

Thank you for understanding my question. I know I have a non normal Disney family but it is what it is. My kids are 7,7,4,4,4 and 3. I am not sure if they can combine our cards or not. Maybe I can ask that on check in. It is a real mess to keep straight. And the more strick Disney gets the harder it is on us. So just trying to gear up. Last Sept I was able to sit with the kids and hubby ordered our food. It will be a mess if we all have to stand in line and order all the food and then seperate meals on each card. At least it will be even this time 1A/3c on each. Last year Grace was free, so it was uneven. Watch out Disney...here we come!

OK...I just gotta say... :faint: :jumping1: :worship: :grouphug:

Heaven bless you, dear mom, for taking those little ones to WDW! You should be given no hassles at all ordering your CS meals, even if you are sitting at the table with the little ones. Just have DH whip out his wallet and show the CM a family portrait :teeth:

And honestly? Even if each of your kids won't necessarily eat a full CS meal -- or TS meal for that matter -- it probably would be easiest and less bean counting for you to just order an individual meal for each child each time, even if some is it is wasted. Would be a lot less trouble to keep track of. You could always snag the carrot sticks and grapes off their plates and save them to dole out as snacks later in the day while you are walking around the parks.
