DDP Question (Swapping Desserts/Drinks for Snacks)

I know we have the ability to swap either or both the dessert and/or drinks in a CS meal for a snack(s) on the same menu in the same question, but my question is more directed towards checkout in this scenario.

Will you have to 'notify' a CM at checkout if you choose to swap anything out before they scan your Magicband? Or is it intuitive enough for a CM to know if they don't see either a dessert and/or a drink that we swapped it for the snack(s) on our tray? Esp. if we opt to swap the drink at BOG lunch for the french onion soup (whether we pre-order or not).

I will definitely check the receipts after to make sure the correct number of credits were deducted, but wanted to prevent an after-the-fact situation of having to request something be added back (i.e. CM assumes we just didn't want a drink and/or dessert and using a snack credit in addition to the meal). I could very well be overthinking this as well Thank you!

At most of the park QS places, you place and pay for your order before you get your food, so you can easily tell the CM what you wish to do. At some of the resorts, you will gather your food and then go through the check-out. Again, you can easily tell the CM what you are doing, and I would definitely speak up to be sure they are charging just a QS credit and not something else.

Right, and I'll definitely be doing that because the last thing I would want to deal with is having to figure out what needs to be put back towards our credit balance esp. if the counter is busy and I end up holding up a line! Thanks!
