The family wants to do Crystal Palace for breakfast during our August trip. I don't know the exact price for 5 adults and 1 child due to the range they post on the official web site. They think we should pay out of pocket and save the Dining credit for another TS. I think its worth it to use the credit for the breakfast. These character meals seem to cost more than I would be charged at a TS. Any idea the price per person (adult and child) for the breakfast buffet? The one listed here is from 2016.

all ears .net has current menu prices. usually a character buffet is pricier than a regular ts meal so I'd use the credit there.

Yes, I also plan to use TS on any buffets or AYCTE meals. They typically end up costing more then standard meals. In the past we had Deluxe Dining, and always had more then enough credits. Next time we’re doing the standard Dining and mixing some OOP, and I am fairly sure we’ll do fewer buffets. But they will be the DDP uses.

What other restaurants are you eating at? Do you plan to consume alcohol and if so, is there an option for that at the breakfast?

CP is $34.08 for adults, and $20.24 for children at breakfast....tax included.

I agree with the ones who say to pay out of pocket, since CP breakfast is fairly affordable, and you forfeit the dessert TS credit when doing a breakfast. Of course, it all depends on what other TS restaurants you plan to eat at, but overall, breakfast is a poor value on the DDP (outside of places like Akershus and Chef Mickeys, etc).

An adult TS credit on the DDP should be "worth" somewhere in the range of $40-45.

We are currently thinking of Ohana and La Hacienda. I wasn't taking in to consideration adding the desert (which seems like most are $10) and a drink (which seem like they are over $10) to the price of the TS dinner. Have 3 other ADR's to decide on so I guess it will depend on where else they decide to go but looks like OOP is the way to go. Thanks all.
