DDP or CL for teenage boys

We"ll be celebrating my son's 16th birthday in June 2013. He's bringing a friend, and it will be, me, my DH and my DD (12). We thought the quick service plan might be perfect, so that way the boys could eat when they're out and about. We were originally going to stay CL, but figured the boys would be out in the parks most of the time, so the DDP might make a better choice. Any thoughts?

They are not going to want to travel all the way back to the resort to eat. They will need to eat NOW. As the mother of teen boys, when they want food, they want the closest and easiest thing. I think the QSDP would work well for this situation. No reservations to worry about and no matter where they are, they will be able to find something they want to eat and they will not have to wait.

It's going to be more difficult to get your money's worth on the QSDP in 2013. The peace of mind for you may make it worth it for you, though.

Another option is to give them Disney gift cards each day and let them get food with that. Depending on how much you want to give them each day, it may give them some different options. Just make sure they know that when the money on the card is gone, they go hungry!
