My Fi and I will be in Disney for 5-nights for the second part of our Honeymoon (the first is a RC 7-night cruise). We will be on the DDP. I have been to Disney a few times on the DDP, and we went a year and a half ago. We are not at all picky and want to get the most value of the plan. We are still over the six months out so we can plan for anything. We know we will book:

Narcosees's and Le Cellier

We will probably pay OOP for lunch at the 50's Diner as FI has never been.

Also has anyone just done Sci-Fi for an app. and milkshakes without ordering an entire meal? FI has not been there either and would like to enjoy it without an entire meal. This would also be OOP

For the other 2 TS meals we were thinking of at least one more in Epcot: France, Italy, Mexico, or Japan. We really enjoyed Chefs de France, but are one of the other places better?

This leaves one more TS.
Should we just do another TS in World Showcase? Would Boma be the best bet? Is it as good as what I have read. We have not been, or are there other suggestions of what would be the best TS for the money for a memorable honeymoon experience?

In Epcot, my dbf and I really liked Italy, which is suprising, reading some of the mixed reveiws on this board. We always sit outside, just in time for Illumnations (you can't see the whole show, but it's romantic to be able to watch the sky light up and see the tops of the fireworks.)

The other place that I would reccomend is the Yak and Yeti, if you are going to AK. It has a very themed 'old world' feeling, but it was my dbf's favorite meal out of the whole trip! I ordered the steak and shrimp (I don't eat shrimp, but I wanted the steak.) and it was AMAZING!

Thanks so much for responding!! Any other opinions for the best quality TS meal that will lend to the biggest return on the DDP??

Italy is best enjoyed if you are using credits on the dining plan. Paying OOP for this place is extremely expensive. I would never eat there if not using the DDP. The food is good just ridiculously expensive. I prefered the food at Chefs De France myself. Can't give opinions on the other two choices as i've never eaten at either. I don't care for asian style food and I've never tried Mexico. Rose & Crown is fun if their menu appeals to you. I like it but it's not one of my top picks. Boma has a great buffet but the food is a little different. None of the buffets are considered to give you the biggest bang for the credits but that should probably be reconsidered now that the appetizers aren't included elsewhere. The Buffet at Cape May at the BC is also another really good Buffet dinner.

Again thanks! I figure if we are doing the DDP (I haven't done it since they took off the tip and the app.) I am going to take full advantage of it.

Our very best meal of our trip a week ago was Teppan Edo in the Japan pavilion. The food was prepared as a "show" at the table and was fresh and delicious. We don't do the whole "bang for your buck" theory - I would just prefer to be happy with the menu choices than go for expensive. I will say, however, that our final bill for Teppan Edo was the highest of our trip - 2 adults and 2 kids was around $115.00 (or so...I know that we had a $23.00 tip, so it had to be around that!)
