Ddp + Oop??

We're going to be on the DDP when we go this summer. I've been perusing the menus, and gathering that if we added a salad or appetizer it will have to be OOP. I'm assuming that we can order and the meals will not be charged, but the app or salad would be and we can just pay. Right?

Ex:

Salad $5
Meal $15

Salad $5
Meal $15

Our check would be for $10. Yes? I know the prices aren't even close to accurate, but it was just easier.

Yes. Your original receipt will itemize your items and show prices, then when your card has been run you will receive a set of receipts - one set to sign showing that you acknowledge the use of your meal credits and allowing you to add the tip to be charged to your room if you so choose, and another with the remaining oop items totalled on it.

You can sign the first without adding the tip, and leave cash to cover both the second total and the tip.

You can sign the first with the tip added, which will charge the tip to your room, and then leave cash for the oop total (or charge it directly to a credit card).

You can sign both the first and second with the tip added to one of them, and charge the oop and tip both to your room.
