DDP on staggered room reservations?

8 of us + an infant are staying at the BC Villas in May. We would all be allowed to stay in a 2 bedroom (and be on the dining plan that way), but we wanted the extra room, so we have rented a studio as well. The 2 adults and 2 children staying in the studio will check in a day earlier than the rest of us in the 2 bedroom, and then stay in the 2 bedroom with us for the final night. So the studio will rent from Sat - Fri, and the 2 bedroom from Sun - Sat.

The DDP will run for 2 adults and 2 children from Sat - Fri, and for 4 adults from Sun - Sat. Disney can't structure it any other way, which I understand. I'd like to work it out so that we can use all of the credits for everyone from Sun - Sat. But the only way to avoid having some credits go unused on the front end of the trip, and then having to pay out of pocket on the back end, is for the studio people to pay for a couple of meals for the 2 bedroom people at the beginning of the trip, and reverse that at the end. Anyone know if we could do this? Thanks!

Unfortunately, the meal plan is non-transferable, so you cannot use credits from one reservation for people who aren't part of that reservation.

The 2BR room keys will say "2A2C" on them. The studio room keys will say "4A" on them. That will be your guidance for how many credits you can use at each meal.

How about when we have 2 rooms and everyone is checking in and out at the same time? We would go with a suite, but it is a lot more expensive that 2 rooms at Pop Century.
