DDP omissions 2012???

Non-Disney owned restaurants have until the end of the year to sign the contract for 2012 DDP participation. Most, if not all, of the 2011 restaurants will likely participate again. The brochure that comes out at the start of the year should have the full list.

Only one restaurant has ever dropped from the plan, Fulton's, and this was way back when it first started.

This confusion occurs every year. When they first release the plan they don't have the necessary agreements in place yet with the non-Disney owned eateries. They have always (except in one case as PP stated) come through with every restaurant that was on last years plan.

I wish they would just negotiate this a little earlier and release the full list rather than make their customers worry like this. I bet they probably lose some DDP business from the uninitiated because of this. Bad show if you ask me.

Its definately something I would want to know if I was staying at CSR. And isn't Fulton's on the plan as a signature meal?

Fulton's accepts only the premium and platinum package plans, not the regular or deluxe Disney Dining Plans. Fulton's dropped dining plan participation in 2006.

They can't advertise any restaurants that are not operated by Disney as participating in the dining plan until those restaurants are under contract for 2012. It so happens that Coronado Springs is the only Disney resort where all the food service outlets, with the possible exception of the pool snack bar, are operated by a third party rather than Disney itself.

Just read this before I was about to post in my panic that our plans were in tatters. :rotfl: Is it usual for them to put up the dining plan PDF then rewrite them later once the resturants sign up. Just surprised that they would bother to write them only to have to change. Should we then make 2 sep ARDs incase some donot come on line so as to have a back up plan- is this possible.

If they don't come through I don't fancy my chances of getting an ARD at captain Jacks unless you hit the button at t=zero on day 180 out.

Yes this is SOP for Disney it seems. I wouldn't worry too much about your meals. Based on history there has only ever been 1 restaurant that dropped from the plan as PP stated.
