DDP & ME for Ressie leaving early

We will be going to AKV in Oct with our family, MIL, FIL, & BIL. We would like to get a 2 bedroom Villa, but are concerned about DDP & ME. We will be staying for 5 days, but our MIL & FIL will only be staying for 3 days. I have listed 2 scenarios below, can anyone advise on which would be applicable in this situation please:

Option 1--Get a 2 bedroom (ideal situation)--Everyone except MIL & FIL get DDP & ME through day 5. MIL & FIL get DDP & ME through day 3.

Option 2--Get a 1 bedroom with adjoining studio for MIL & FIL & have 2 ressies. The 1 bedroom for 5 days & the studio for 3 days.

In order get the DDP & ME for everyone do they have to all end on the 5th day or can other people on the ressie leave early & only pay for that amount of time? I don't think it is possible, but I wanted to check. Thank-you!!!

Option 1 doesn't work because everyone listed on your reservation must purchase DDP for the entire length of reservation (total number of nights you have booked). You cannot drop days off for guests who aren't staying entire time. Magical Express can be set up however in the way guests need it to be arranged for their flights BUT this is providing they are listed on the reservation - - SO if you have 2br villa then your MIL and FIL would have to be listed on reservation in order to make use of ME ( and then that means you'd have to purchase DDP for them for entire stay ). Also, your MIL & FIL would need to be listed on reservation in order to take advantage of Early Park Opening and Extra Magic Evening hours ( they'd need to be issued an onsite resort KTTW card). Just an idea, you may use the rest of MIL/FIL's dining credits after they've gone home - - perhaps to take advantage of Signature Dining locations which require 2 table service credits per person per meal so maybe if you figure that out it is an alternative to booking a 1 bedroom and a separate studio. 1 br & separate studio would be only way MIL and FIL could purchase DDP for only the exact number of days they'd be at WDW because their reservation would be completely separate from yours. Also, note that if you do book 1 bedroom villa and book studio for them iirc there is no guarantee that these 2 units will be connecting.
