DDP & ME for 2008

Does anyone know when the dining plan and Magical Express will be available to add for 2008? Any solid information yet on possible changes to the dining plan?

Magical Express doesn't need to be booked until about 3-4 months before your trip, so I wouldn't worry about it until that time. Then, just call MS and have it taken care of.
Not sure about the DDP...who knows what it's going to be like in '08...could be the same or they may change it drastically. And again, it doesn't have to be added to your reservation until just before you arrive...I think it's three days, but I could be wrong.

Everything I have read pretty much indicates ME is around for at least a few more years.

Over on the Dining board there have been LOTS of rumors that DDP will have a change. Basically the rumor is that in 2008 the automatic tip will no longer be included and a standard tip will be charged to you based on the cost of your meal. (In other words if your meal would have cost $100 without DDP you will be tipped 15% of $100 or something like that)

I talked to MS last week and the CM offered the info that the 2008 DDP has not been announced yet. I'm waiting to see if the rumors will be true, then crunch my numbers.

Last year, DDP info came out mid to late August (and even then the list of restaurants wasn't complete until Sept or Oct). I'd expect the same thing this year.

DME was right around the same time, I think.
