DDP, limits on what you can pick from the menu?

Can someone explain something to me. This is our first time using the DDP, and I am seeing some mixed comments.

Is there a seperate menu for ordering when on the DDP.

We are eating at:
Coral Reef (lunch- hope to eventually get into dinner instead)
Garden Grille (lunch- hope to eventually get into dinner instead)
Hollywood & Vine (lunch)
Crystal Palace dinner
Mit. In Japan dinner
Le celliar (canada) (candlelight proc. pkg @ lunch- hope to eventually get into dinner instead)

So much question is, are we limited to certain items on the menu? and at the candlelight proc. pkg, is the menu EVEN more limited? When I asked the CM about it, when making the ressie, she said at lunch you cannot order Lobster-- not sure we would anyway, but it made me think that it might be limited somehow... possibly just that it is lunch time too.

Did not use DDP but from what I hear from other tables in the places we eat. You are limited to what you can order. Hopefully you can get an answer on what you can or can not have.

We didn't encounter any limits for adults. Just if you order alcoholic drinks or extra sauces, they will be charged separately. The kids menus were limited, but all had good choices. No problems whatsoever.

Everyone orders off the same menu, DDP or not. There are few, if any items that not available to DDP guests - like addons, and sometimes specialty drinks (of course alcohol is never included on DDP). In general items that are intended for more than one person cannot be ordered by just one person on DDP (for example a dessert for two can't be ordered by each adult at the table on DDP, however 2 adults might be able to order one of them on DDP but no guarantees). I've never done the Candlelight Processional so I'm not sure if that is a different menu - even for cash guests.
