ddp increase

Just added ddp for this upcoming week. Was charged the previous price, not the increase. So not sure if this is because we, DVC, still enjoy the price throughout the year with no mid price increase.
Dont want to turn this into a debate about if its worth it or not. Just wanted to point out that with the price increase talk, we did not get charged the increase.

That has been the process in the past. DVC has a year long contract price. The price will go up 1-1-2017 (date of stay).

Pricing for Dining Plans on DVC Reservations is set for the calendar year. The current pricing for the CRO plans will most likely become the 2017 DVC pricing.

The new prices will show up in the fall, I don't think you can add it until they do.

Pricing is based on check-in date and is not yet available for check-ins on or after 1/1/2017.

I don't know this answer but what happens for the DP if the plan crosses over the calendar year. I'm thinking it's charged at the old years price and if so, it might be worth it to start the stay a day earlier in some cases. You'd get the room guaranteed to be ready on 1/1 and more credits for a lower per credit price.

What is the difference in our DVC price to everyone else's price? We have not done it in a few years-usually TIW. This trip we may do a few character/buffet meals so I am trying to see if it makes sense $ wise.

Historically the only difference is if they increase prices mid year DVC hasn't increased as well.
