DDP for one day and ticket question

We are arriving a day early and thinking about staying at POP and adding the dining plan. Will the mug be usable the rest of our 10days staying at AKL? Or is it just a one day mug since we only have the DDP one day?

Also, since we have to add a 1 day ticket to get the DDP, how does it work now that there are MBs? We have a 10 day ticket already. Will they give us a paper ticket so we can not activate it and use it on our next trip?

My understanding is that all mugs activated with a dining plan are good for "length of stay" which really means 14 days. But I haven't seen any explicit confirmation based on experience.

Are you getting free dining? You should be able to get a dining plan without buying tickets if you're paying for the dining plan, but I thought free dining required a two day ticket purchase.

If you have to buy the ticket, go to guest services before you enter any parks with your magic bands. They can prioritize your tickets so the one-day ticket isn't used, and you should be able to manage the ticket in MDE.

No free dining. I thought it had to be a "package" meaning a 1 day ticket had to be attached. The website doesn't seem to let me add dining to a room only.

You have t call to get a dining/room combo. It's a recent thing.
