DDP for DVC members...

Hi all! This is a question for my DBF...her parents are DVC members and they are going to BWV in August. She's trying to figure out if she should purchase the DDP or not. Question: while they will stay at BWV for 5 days, they only plan to do the parks 2 days. If she purchases DDP, does she have to purchase for the length of her stay or can she only get 2 days?

If they get a dining plan, it must be for all nights of the room reservation and for all persons (3 and older) listed on the room reservation.

If you have a split reservation, can do DDP for one part of the split reservation.

As a PP said, they would have to get the DDP for all days of the reservation, however the DDP can be used outside the parks. They would be able to use it at the resorts and even at Downtown Disney/Disney Springs.

That said, we have always found that, unless doing a lot of character meals, we always come out ahead by paying out of pocket.

If you have a split reservation, can do DDP for one part of the split reservation.

A split reservation with different dining plan would require moving from the first location to a different resort, different size villa or different villa in the same resort. Checking out and not checking back into the same one.
