Hey all! Question: What options do I have for using some of the TS credits for a 3 yr old who just isn't going to eat much at all? At many of our reservation sites he is only going to eat some fries and I hate to use a whole TS credit for fries. Can we trade his TS credits for CS or Snack credits?

3 year olds do not get the DDP they share from your meal and are free unless you want to pay OOP.

There really aren't any options but to use the TS credit for whatever your child would eat off the kids menu. I don't think you would be allowed to trade his TS credits for CS or snacks.

The DDP is free for children under 3.....ages 3-9 pay the child price for the DDP and must order off the child menu.

okay, so we have established that I have definitely paid for the 3 yr old on the DDP, but I have also read about people having left over credits at the end of their trip and 'trading' them for snacks?...any clarifications will help.

You can't get snack credits in trade unless it's during free dining.

What some have said you can do is cash in a CS credit at a resort CS (haven't heard that it works in the parks) and they will let you buy a few snacks. Check with the cashier before you pick up the snacks to see if they will let you do this.

You cannot trade TS credits for snacks.

We have a lot of differing information about trading TS for CS. It's either you can do it anytime by just telling the checkout at the CS that you want to use a TS credit, or you can do it if you convert your TS to CS at your resort front desk. During free dining you can usually trade TS for CS plus snacks or merchandise - but that offer is good only during free dining. Any other time it is a one for one trade - no extra snacks.

This can probaly very from CM to location. But two years ago during free dinning I had 2 kids TS credits left over. On my last day I asked one of the POP cashiers if I could get CS with these two left over TS credits I had left. She said sure I could get two kids CS. So thats what I got.
