DDP during F&W question

Hi!

I've scored the Free Dining promotion for our September dates and it will also be during Food & Wine Festival. VERY EXCITED!!!!

My question is: Are the F&W kiosks all considered snack credits, or will some have items that would be considered a QS instead? OR am I better off just assuming I'm paying OOP for items at F&W and just using snack credits at other parks/resorts?

The food and non-alcoholic drinks are almost all considered snack credits. I can't think of any in the past that were not.

You can also use a QS for 3 items at one booth at one time. However, the value of your QS means you need to make sure those items are all $6 or more if you care about getting value for your free dining plan.

Thank you! I think it will be hard to use the QS exchange at the booths since my kids are not very adventurous. ha ha

I'll plan on paying OOP for anything less than $5. That should keep it simple and still save enough credits for F&W I hope. If not, oh well, still going to enjoy ourselves! lol

It depends on how many steaks you can polish off for yourself at the Canada booth! There were really only a couple of items that were high priced enough for me to consider using entitlements on but the meat items are generally more expensive.

We ate ourselves silly at the Canadian booth. For lunch we got six of the filets and split them. Two were practically full size, we hit the qs/snack credit jackpot.

This is exactly what I did last year. Hubby and I saved all our snack credits, and used them ALL on F&W booth items, especially the meat items like the fillet and the lobster roll, and tons of other deliciousness!! I'm going in two weeks on DxDP and the Flower and Garden Festival is going on, and those booths look every bit as yummy as F&W!!
