DDP credits question?????

We are planning our first WDW trip for Feb. :cool1:
We have the DDP for DH, DD (3), and myself. I know we get a TS, CS, and snack each day. I also understand that DD will have to order from the kiddie menu. This is no problem! :cutie:
What I cannot find is a list telling me how many credits each TS restaurant takes. I have read that CRT, Hoopdeedo, and Spirit of Aloha are 2.
Are there any others that are 2 TS credits? Can I use 4 CS credits for 2 TS credits? If we do not use all our credits each day do they roll over, or are they just gone? Are there tricks that can help me maximize the plan?
Thanks!!!!

I am pretty sure that CS are not the same. You will get xx amount of adult CS credits and xx amount of adult CS credits (same as TS) based on the number of nights you stay.
There are several TS that are two credits. Off the top of my head:
Cinderellas Castle at MK
Brown Derby at DHS
Jiko at AKL
Artist Point at WL
California Grill at CR
Citricos (not sure)
Narcoossee's at GF
and any of the dinner shows.
You definately cannot use CS for TS credits.
HTH! :)

It is a little bit of a misnomer to say that the credits from one day would "roll into" the next. That implies that on day 1 you have 1 of each credit. In fact, when you check in your entire DDP credit allotment is available to you. Remember, it is based on the number of NIGHTS (not days) you are staying. SO, let's say you are there 5 nights with 2 adults and 1 child. When you check in you will have 10 adult TS, 5 child TS, 10 Adult CS, 10 child CS, and 15 snacks all available. You can eat them in any order or combination that you want including all in one day if you so choose. Your credits will expire on midnight of the day you check out. You cannot use CS for TS and vice versa.

One other restaurant I see missing from the list of 2 credit ("signature") restaurants is the Flying Fish at the Boardwalk.

Flying Fish is indeed a 2 credit signature restaurant.

The 2 credit restaurants are
Flying Fish
Jiko
Narcoosees
Citricos
California Grill
Hollywood Brown Derby
Artist Point
Cinderella's Royal Table
Yachtsman Steakhouse

Plus the three dinner shows:
Spirit of Aloha
Hoop de Doo Revue
Mickey's Backyard Barbeque

Credits for which you paid a child's price (TS or CS) are to be used to order from a children's menu where one is available.

Thanks guys!:thumbsup2
We are new to this Dis thing. This is a big trip for us, and we want to get as much out of the package as possible before we pay OOP. Please do not think I am trying to scam "the mouse!":eek:LOL
We will be there 6 nights, and these are the TS we have planned; depending on ADR's (I will be trying on the 27th with the masses!):scared1:
Chef Mickey (breakfast or dinner)
Boma (dinner)
Akserhaus Princess Dinner (dinner)
Ohana or Spirit of Aloha (dinner)
Hollywood and Vine w/ Fantasmic pkg. or 50's PT (dinner)
Liberty Tree Tavern (of we do Ohana)
I think this is all my TS credits.:teacher:
We are also open for suggestions and advice on restaurants...
Thanks again.

If you are there for six nights, then you only have six TS credits each, not seven. The DDP goes by nights not days stayed. Spirit of Aloha is 2 credits, so if you go there, you will be one credit short. Otherwise your ADRs look good.

The resort food courts will occasionally allow you to substitute a CS for a TS, but at no time has Disney ever allowed anyone to exchange any number of CS credits for a TS meal. If you are staying six nights then you will each have 6 TS credits, 6 CS credits, and 6 snacks (again not 7). A child's credit must be used for a child's meal. Credits are good from the time you check in until midnight of the day you check out. You can use them in any order during that time (2 TS/day, 1 TS/ day, OOP one day, then 2 TS the next day, etc).

In response to the OP question about maximising use of credits, there are many threads on that topic on here which will be helpful. It is really entertaining though - everyone wants to know how to "maximise" the use of credits and then returns to write a trip report and complain that there was way too much food and they couldn't use all their credits.

I truly believe that maximising your usage of credits is simply finding how to adapt your usage of them to suit your family's needs and habits.
