DDP Confusion

Hey there we are planning a family trip to WDW, we are DVC members and typically get the dining plan, we haven’t been since the new changes adding an additional snack and specialty beverage alcoholic or not. Was just doing some reading on Disney food blog and they talked about getting a specialty drink at there quick service meals, does this mean you can get a specialty drink at a quick service lunch and then again at a table service dinner? Not sure if we are understanding this correctly

Currently on the dining plans:

QS (non reservation/service restaurant) - Entree and Beverage
TS - Entree, Beverage, Desert
Snack - Anything with DDP logo (no alcohol)

Beverage can be Soda, Juice, Specialty Drink, or Alcohol (for anyone over 21) at both meals

QSDP = 2QS, 2 Snacks per person per night
DDP = 1QS, 1TS, 2 Snacks per person per night
DxDP = 3 Meal Credits (TS* or QS), 2 Snacks per person per night

*TS on the Deluxe plan includes an appetizer

Some TS meals cost 2 credits - no additional items are included, they just typically have higher-cost items

desserts are no longer included with just the QS. You have two snacks per day now.
