DDP Confusion (again)

I am currently booking a room only reservation at WL for the last 2 days of my trip. I am contemplating adding the regular DDP to that reservation. I know I would need to buy at least a 1 day ticket in order to get the dining. Does this automatically add the rest of the "package" features, I will not use any of these, (like the $15 planet hollywood discount etc.) Seems like a waste if they are included.

(Mods, if this is in the wrong spot..please move to correct area. Thanks)

Yes, by adding tickets to a room only reservation, it turns it into a package. Keep in mind that if you want to utilize a free dining promo at any point, those promos typically require a 2 day ticket to be added on.

If I were you, I would price out the cost of the 1 day ticket plus dining plan versus paying OOP for food those last few days. Sure, if you don't use the 1 day ticket this trip, you can use it in the future. But, it's usually cheaper to buy 8 days (for example) than it would be to buy 7 days + 1 day. Hard for me to articulate it, but I would recommend doing the math on that.
