DDP and tickets?

Can you purchase the DDP when you don't purchase your tickets from Disney? I am probably going to purchase my tickets from a site that has been recommended here on the Disboards (love this site!). Will I still be able to add the DDP?

You need to have at least a one day ticket. For me, it didn't make sense to buy a one day ticket as part of the package and then buy the rest from UT. It cost me more than I saved with UT, so I will just buy my 6 day park hopper from Disney.

The only way you can buy the DDP is part of a pkg that includes at least one day MYW tickets for every one in your room. The only exception is for DVC members and Annual Pass holders.

And aubriee's example is not only not cost-effective, it's more expensive!
