Thanks to a great suggestion on the Resorts forum, we are considering a split stay at POFQ and AKL. If we are doing the DDP, can we still have one plan for 6 nights, or will we need to do two plans for 3 nights each? In that case, we will need to use our credits for the first three nights by the end of the third day? Any experience with this?
I have done the math and the DDP would work for us, but not if we would need to use half of our credits by mid-stay.

As an AP holder I have used the DDPs for split stays multiple times,( booking AP ticketless pkgs---would not do it though if I had to buy park tickets for each stay). Anyway, a few years ago I was doing a split stay at CSR/YC using the DxDDP for both stays and had an ADR for the night I was switching from CSR to YC. Knowing I had to use all the credits from the CSR stay by midnight of the CSR check out day, I wanted to use them first, so used one for lunch, then planned on combining that last credit from the CSR stay with one from the YC stay to pay for that 2 credit meal at Yachtsman. When it came time to pay, I handed the waiter both room keys and told him what I was doing. He informed me that even though both sets of credits was still good there was no way to use two credits from two different reservations to pay for one meal. He even checked with the manager, who was apologetic, but said there was simply no way they could do it. I had to used two credits from the second stay and because it was too late that night, I just lost the last credit from my first stay. Since then, if doing a Signature meal on the night that I'm switching resorts, I'll either make sure I use all the credits from that first stay before dinner then use 2 credits from the second stay for dinner, or I'll use a credit from the second stay for lunch that day and then use the last two credits from the first stay for dinner. In other words, the day that you switch resorts you will have credits available from both stays, but make sure you have enough credits from just one stay to pay for each meal that day, as you can not combine credits from two stays to pay for one meal.
