DDP and Split Stay

I apologize if this has been posted before but if I have a split stay with 2 nights in a studio followed by 5 nights in a 2 bedroom with separate confirmation #s. Is it possible to have the dining plan only for the 2 nights in a studio?

Yes it is possible to do it that way.

We do this most of the time. We do split stays and only do the dining plan with the first one. That way we can do some offsite things the second half or not have to worry about ADR's.

Can you still use the remaining meal credits after you checked out the first resort and checked in the second resort? I will have a split stay for my up coming May trip. 1st night AKLV and 2nd night OKW (AKL is full the second night). If I order Deluxe DDP for the 1st night, can I have dinner at BOMA, snacks at MARA, lunch the second day (after I check out at AKL) at Wolfgang Puck Cafe, then have a dinner at Olivia's that night after I checked in at OKW?

If you book the Deluxe plan you can stretch those credits.

Depending on your arrival you could have 2TS meals a day for the 3 days the plan can cover. You'd also have 4 snacks and a mug per person. Not a bad deal since you know you'll be onsite until midnight that 3rd day. Then eat more budget conscience for the final 4/5 days of your stay.

Sample: $140 for one Adult (2 Nights of the Deluxe Plan)
First Day: Snack shortly after arrival, 2TS Signature dinner

Second Day: Buffet Breakfast, TS dinner, snack in between

Third Day: Repeat Day 1 using Snack credits for early meal
OR Repeat Day 2 and get two more TS meals

Signature Meals - $100, Buffet - $18 for Boma Breakfast, Other TS - $28 other off menu meal, and that's with choosing the rather inexpensive Buffet/TS meals ($146 in meals plus those 4 snacks and Resort Mugs).

And since Deluxe meal plan still has appetizer included. I think it is better deal to order the 1 night Deluxe plan than ordering 2 nights of regular dining plan. It would be too much food for 1 night on a DDDP, but just right spread it across 2 days. Don't you think?

They expire at midnight the night you check out of your first hotel, so they are good 'till midnight the first night you are in your new place. We did this last year and it worked out great. Have fun!

We are doing something similar. We will have a split stay which I did so we could just purchase the DxDP and DDP for parts of our trip.
