DDP and Renting Points?

I am looking into renting points for a trip next year. I am new to this whole thing so right now I am just doing some research.

Anyway my question is are you able to rent points towards the dining plan? Or would I have to pay for that seperate? Or is the dining plan even an option with DVC??

Obviously I still have a lot to look into but I was hoping I could get some answers here. Sorry Mods if this was the wrong place to ask.

Points are for accomodations only. You can still get the DDP with a DVC points stay. The member that you rent from would need to add it to the reservation at least 48 hours prior to your arrival date. All persons listed on the reservation will need to be on the same plan for all nights of the reservation. The DDP would be paid for when you check-in to the resort.
