DDP and OOP guests at same table?

I know that DDP has to be added to all persons sharing a package if you want to use it.

Is the same true for ADR? My friend and I want to do DDP, one night we meet friends at Artist Point, so I made an ADR for 8 adults there. Our friends only visit for the day, so they cannot get DDP. Would that be a problem? Or do we just tell the waiter who uses DDP and who will pay OOP?

We had no problem dining last July when we were on the Disney Dining Plan and our friends were not -- just be sure to let you waiter know.

I had never read of any troubles along those lines until an isolated rumor I read a couple of weeks ago. Until I read corroberation, I don't put much stock in the rumor. Just let the server know which diners are paying which ways when you place your order.
